Tyler Durden: You're not your SHOES. You're not how many SHOES you have in your closet. You're not the SHOES you wear. You're not the contents of your SHOE collection. You're not your fucking KICKS. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

^ I'm a bulls fan, I think injuries are just a part of the game, especially in a condensed 66 game schedule. Would love to see rose on the court in-sync though soon... Wade got hurt in his shoes...then kobe...then gallinari earlier...
I think that blaming any injury on a shoe is entirely ridiculous. With some rare exceptions, shoes won't actively make you decidedly more prone to injury. That's just ridiculous.
Nah, I was saying shoes don't really make the player. Anybody can get hurt with wearing any shoe. Jordan could have won his rings in shape-u and converse taylors.

DP: Yeah man, those are the Crazy Skins. A couple colorways were released a while back, but I don't think it ever really got big. They have them OG PureMotion from the SN Commanders.
urriah: Seriously?! (And wait, you reached Riverbanks? You were literally minutes away from me then) But compared to that other one, I'd definitely go with the other. Still finding ways on how I can come up with some dough for it.
confuzion: Sorry to hear that, man. Maybe you guys are just incompatible though. (lolz, as if it's some relationship problem  ) These 2nd gen Roses tended to have a really narrow (yet sometimes long) forefoot. Maybe you could try double socking? And lower achilles, I assume that's the area of the Sprintframe? That's funny, shouldn't be that loose. Did you try sizing down before you got them?
FS: Well said. Light doesn't always equal fast. I share the same sentiments when comparing my 1.5s and 2.5s. Definitely felt like I could move better in the former (not that it's the shoes that make the player, but we ALL know just how amazing PureMotion could make your feet feel  ).
Played in both the adipures and 1.5's today. And I gotta say, having puremotion back under my feet is
The adipures though are solid. Very close to the ground.

Wow! That Blue really pops in that shot!
What size did you get in the adiPures?

Aaah, puremotion from SN commanders sound enticing.
I can't help seeing the two pairs are slightly different. One has bootie while the other don't. Also the sprint skin also not the same on the front end. Perhaps they are just samples as they are all size 9.

Having loved previous Adidas bball shoes I just got the blue 2.5's and I have to say I think they are mud. They feel unresponsive, too much room around the forefoot (length is fine), the inner sole is too shiny/slippery and god damn worst of all there is f-all padding at the lower achillies area.. both my achillies are raw from rubbing (in thick NBA socks) during a competition game. Will rarely bring these into my rotation unless I can find a bit of foam to use in the back of them :(
sorry to hear you aren't enjoying your 2.5's. Most guys in here including myself find the forefoot to be a little narrow/tight. In the heel there should be no rubbing/moving if laced correctly, there is no padding back there since it is a minimalist shoe, all has been stripped except the essentials. Those two things lead me to believe that you probably have shoes that run big, did you get a chance to try on other sizes. and there should be no slipping at all in the insole if you use cotton socks, any synthetic material socks will make slipping a problem in most shoes. Also to help better understand what type of shoe is more your style/fit to point you in a better direction can you tell me some shoes that you enjoy playing basketball. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the replies all!
I think you may be right on them being 0.5 big or so. It's wierd because they felt great at my local Footlocker, but I ordered them from Eastbay (sent to Australia where I live so can't return them. I suppose it's always different when you're actually running hard in them. In the past I've bought shoes that felt great in store but ended up being 0.5 too small trying to play in them.. /lifestory :(
A friend of mine is not using his Crazy Light comfort insoles so I will try them and double sock and see how we go. If that fails I can always pass them on and get the size down.
As for your last question, I find Kobe 6's are fantastic for me.. I changed shoes to my 6's for the 2nd half and it felt like I was running in well fitted, responsive clouds hehe.. Have Kobe 7's as well but I don't find them as good as the 6.

Yeah sorry if that came off wrong. I completely agree with all of that. And  at Shape-ups!
So I just got my Playoff adiRose 2.5s in today and I understand what people are saying about the fit/comfort of the sneakers. They are SO light its insane and makes you want to just run and play ball (which is good for me because I'm in the middle of a move to Orlando so the ventalation is very welcome).
Had to apply my adiZero Crazy Light hack on these though: i.e switching stock insole with one from a SB sneakers and BAM an easy entry into the top 5 sneakers of the year.
