Quiet, good looks on the surgery. Looking forward to getting you back on the court for your valued opinions here.

Will, the backward walking seems to be helping. Still having some knee pain but I have noticed I am loosening up quicker and the pain is going away quicker after I play. I will keep hitting it and see if it continues.

On the sneakerhead thing, I don't know where I fall. I always consider myself a sneakerhead, mnostly because I am fairly knowledgable from years of playing and watching technology and knowing what I like and what the pros and colleges wear. WAY different defitnion than what most think of, but to me, someone like Bobbito or Lang Whitaker or Scoop Jackson are sneakerheads, while all the skinny jean, fat tongue, Supra-wearing pretty boys fall into HYPEBEAST. I don;t know, just my thought. Anyways, anyone got any info on the Eric Gordon shoe, the Stupidly Light? Or did I miss it when the pics came out here?

as for adi it's prolly my adipure lows and 1.5s for a hot minute, not quite sure which other adis to jump onto right now other than SN Creators... maybe? anyone can help me with a 10 for the low?

@Quiet, UP HERE *ala Barney Stinson!!!

@Ninja, im kinda regretting my adipure lows.. it was that or a running shoe.. and i went with the adipures... fairly good shoes mind you.. i tried the running techniques you posted with a decent flip-flop.. AND IT FELT GREAT?! it simply felt like the body is made for running and in that specific form helps. i imagine how better that could have felt if i was wearing proper gear.. story is, i got stranded for a couple of miles before my place and its already dark, so i just ran.. i ended the last 500m barefoot just to get the feel of it but i might not be built for barefoot just yet..

@nene, stock-up on those pro models.. you're gonna need them based on the new models we're seeing.. i don't think the heel cup and fat stripes will hold up with your weight.

Man, I miss my pair. Not that I still can't use 'em, but the doc said it's better to stick to my new shoes since the SNs have taken beating after beating.

And damn, Stupidly Light?! Now how light is THAT gonna be?! Agree with Shooter on that. Interesting to see Cilia and Wavebone. Doesn't have that same OOMPH to me that the CL's did though.

Congrats on the surgery too Quiet! Looks like your local court ain't gonna be so silent now that you're back.

IMHO, that "transcends" being a sneakerhead. That term has a connotation that I don't particularly care for. IMO, you're an "enthusiast". You simply like shoes. You don't drool over a particular brand because it's a particular brand. There's no prestige involved, you aren't trying to impress anyone, not even fellow enthusiasts. THAT's cool. That's awesome.
