hopefully we welcome the new jets starting QB, mark "dirty" sanchez into the league NY GIANTS style by introducing him to the turf a couple of times.

Very nice game tonight at Giants stadium, have a couple of friends heading out to the game.
We need to step up our performance because last week was terrible.
Going up against a Rex Ryan D should fine tune our offense.

If the receivers don't step up and play good through the season, everybody's gonna be on Eli's back, especially after his big contract.

these nagging injuries to our defense are what's hurting us the most. I'm confident that they'll get it together but right now, for a defense of our capabilities we look average, if that. too many big plays are being given up by our secondary and the QB is feeling almost no pressure at all (if I'm not mistaken, opposing starting QBs have only been sacked once the past 2 weeks). we gotta get healthy but for some reason, I feel that we won't be at full strength till week 2 or 3. hopefully others can step up until then...

it was nice to see Nicks make some great plays for us, especially that diving grab in the EZ late in the 4th
6 grabs for 144 yards & 2 TDs sure is a nice stat line even though it's the preseason.

^^Nicks, Barden and Darcy Johnson have alot of potential...if they put Johnson opposite Boss he'll be a big body blocker and a big receiving target. They just make a couple dropped passes...and johnson had couple penalties which can be expected of freshmen. Hopefully they can get off they're last bit of jitters by next week and get ready for the opener. The NFC East looks to be the toughest division in all of football now, but even w/o Plax there isnt really any reason the Giants cant see the post season for the 3rd season in a row.

Big Blue ftw. =]

Our QB has won the BIG one TWICE; has yours?
Only 3 Active Franchise QBs have 2+ rings; if yours doesn't, then SHUT THE FUCK UP. Thanks.

[quote:69791e7a94]Osi Umenyiora's sudden departure from the New York Giants' training facility on Monday has an explanation. The Star-Ledger (N.J.) reports that defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan ticked off the team's star defensive end by being critical of his play.

A source told the paper that Umenyiora was frustrated with Sheridan's comments in a recent game and the coach's "contradictory" approach with handling the defense. Sheridan is in his first season in the role, replacing now Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo.

Last year, it was a devastating knee injury that sideline Umenyiora. The Giants can't afford to let this get out of hand. They need his dynamic presence on the pass rush if they hope to contend for the Super Bowl, and that means having him content.[/quote:69791e7a94]
hopefully this can be contained before it becomes a distraction. also hope the rest of the D isn't feeling like this or we could have a lot more problems that originally thought...
