im wondering about performance, has anyone tried on UAs before?

I don't really think that's true. They released a ton of cool themes for the Bloodline and people slept.

Dammit, missed out on those pink ones. The bloodline is such a badass shoe, it's too bad they didn't sell well. I bought the black and red pair the day they got them in here in Norman.

[/quote] They're trying to make a huge splash by acquiring the guy everybody says they're trying to acquire...whether or not that happens is up in the air, but it'd be a huge get for them.[/quote] I understand that, but unless they stopped doing what they were doing in Jan to start trying to recruit him then, it makes so sense why they just disappeared in Jan and havent been heard from since...well today with that hyperstrike. as for the bloodline..yes there were a lot of good themes, but people slept bc it wasnt what they wanted. at least half of us that were regulars in this thread over the summer/beginning of the season was wanting..waiting..hoping for the other c/w's and themes we seen and wanted..ie neon's.

yeah, i hope they end up releasing other CWs of the bloodlines... the breast cancers just weren't doin it for me.

UA should sign a highly-coveted player other than Jennings and Walker. Any suggestions 'tho? Consider some rookies also. And hopefully, in the near future, someone would create a shoe composing of Micro G (heel) and Nano G (forefoot) combined.

[/quote] Companies are cranking out colorway after colorway of shoes, and all we ever seem to hear about anymore is what wasn't released. Not saying everybody should love what comes out, but it just seems to be the case most of the time. Not that I don't agree that companies like UA and adidas could benefit from more creative releases... it's just hard for brands to think that way when people shun the hell out of their GR product. Would have loved to see the 106&Parks drop myself. Sometimes you gotta just take the L and keep it moving. Dropping limited 'hot' colorways isn't going to do much for business or changing the perception of the shoe, and creative a big run of them is too risky if the initial bunch just sits. I also think what hurt the Bloodline is that it didn't offer much of a different look from the Black Ice. As for why their momentum stalled...I'm sure somebody like Nick could elaborate more on that, but I'd be willing to guess it was just based on the circumstances. Their 'faces' didn't have particularly great seasons...they played for awful teams that get little coverage and they were pretty much irrelevant after the calendar flipped. It's time to reboot. They absolutely have to have a bigger presence in the league and they're going to try to make it happen. We'll see...
