There are sooo many pairs of Jordans out there that people will are willing to pay an arm and a leg for, and there are also those misfit pairs that have gone overlooked and sit on shelves for most of their lives. I thought it would be cool to hear what you guys think are the most overrated pairs that get too much love that they don't necessarily deserve, and which ones you think shouldve gotten more hugs and kisses, and why. I'll start it off. *Mods lock if similar thread*
Overrated: Concord XI. Before you flame me, I'm not saying they're a bad shoe, infact I love how they look. They're dope, but they don't do the dishes or make coffe in the morning, so the 400-600 dollar fee for a decent pair is unnecessary imo
Underrated: Fire Red III. I absolutely love this shoe, and I think the simple but smooth colorway is awesome, so I'm not sure why they don't get as much love as the WC and BC. I think they are more than worthy
I work hard so I can give my son and I the future we deserve...and because I have a sneaker addiction.

The VIII's in general are underrated very badly.
The playoff pair is great too. And some of those retro+ pairs were hot they dropped a few years back.
The white orange pair never gets any love.

Underrated: Most White/Red colorways (XIII, XII, etc.) since they tend to sit on shelves longer than a lot of other OG colorways, yet I think they're arguably the best colorway. Also, just about all VIIIs, IXs, XVIIIs are underrated in my opinion.

So I guess this is an all-time overrated underrated thread? Beware of possible "lockage", heh.
But I'll say an all-time overrated shoe is the Retro 11's. Yes, of course they're beautiful. Yes they're the epitome of fresh. But why, oh why, do they seemingly cause so much pandemonium when many a person hates them beforehand, complains about how they don't resemble the OG pair, then scrambles like mad men when they get close to the release date...? It always mystifies me.
I think an all-time underrated shoe is the Retro 1. Granted they have lost their appeal through so many unnecessary releases and colors (anodized? Huh?), but their significance should still be recognized with all Jordan collectors and wearers.
Things I've noticed about the "new" ISS, by Montana CaiRo:
1. GTFOH with your sneaker capitalism: buy\offer super low, resell for super high.
2. 75% (now about 85%) of the members now are snippy little haters that complain about new releases but purchase and resell them regardless.
3. Why is it now when dudes miss a release all of a sudden the shoe becomes a hype magnet or wack? Do your due diligence, beat the resellers at their game and GET OUT THERE AND COP. Quit acting like Eastbay or Nike is gonna personally send you a pair a week in advance, lol.
Looking to trade for DS size 12: Dunkman Lebron 7, Taxi Lebron 9 Elite, Banned 1's, Carmine 6's (from the CDP).
I've got (in size 11.5 or 12, DS): Flint 13's, Playoff 13's, White\Red 13's. Let's make a (fair) trade. To hell with the "trades in my favor" BS.

For 5's, i think that the grapes are overrated. i'm not saying i dont like em, i love em, but there is alot of hype over them so the prices are way up there
the greenbeans seem to be the most underrated pair of 5's imo. I think they're pretty dope since they are entirely made of 3M material.

the cool greys are the sneakers that are hyped up to the max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are nice they are just very plain and already almost double their price, the sneakers that are not talked about as much as they should are the aqua 8s!!!!!!!!!!!! they are amazing and they have a very nice/unique color way!!!!!!
yea the fire red 3s are verrryy underrated.
and as for the concords, i agree cus they are overrated, but i LOVE them!!

^^^ I agree about pretty much everything posted so far...i love VIIIs (aqua is my favorite), the FR 3s are very underrated but paint chips from the midsoles so easy, it is hard to keep a pair looking nice. Also i agree about concords, as nice as they are still overrated. IMO a couple underrated shoes:
-bred XIs, i know theyre still popular but it seems like they are less popular then the rest of the colors of the XI, which is rare for this cway, one of my favorites
-Raptors VIIs, since the DMP pack you can get these for SOOO cheap, a great shoe and a great colorway imo
