You may have to go to a salon for a cut like that. Just ask the to trim the tips. Tell them you wanna have enough length to be able to style it into a long faux hawk. As for a good shampoo try American crew citrus mint active shampoo. Follow up with the conditioner also American crew citrus mint cooling conditioner.
excuse my stupidity but what size shud i tell my barber to get on the sides?
because at first i want to get it done at my regular barber , once it grows im going to a salon
the hair on the back of my head isnt that long yet as the kid in the picture,shud i just tell my barber to leave the back or do this

i been goin to the same barber for years. always get the same cut. just the all even/ceasar cut. dont even tell him what to do, i just sit down. takes about 30 mins. however, half the time i show up dude dont even be there! haha u gotta wait around and chop it up wit everybody else first before dude walk in late as hell.

I actually want to make an attempt on giving myself a shape up but I'm afraid I might f*** up. I could probably get away with doing the top and sides but I might f*** up on tha back. I have long hair and for the past 5 years all I've done is shape ups at the barbershop every 10 days

Ive been cutting my own hair now for about 3 yrs now. pretty good actually.
get on youtube and learn, its not that hard. and u will save money.
I now cut hair for friends. charge $5
im use to Wahls. Masters get hot in about 15 min.
I use a Wahl 5 Star Senior, with the regular blade. Fade blade pulls hair.
Although i wanna get me some Masters just cause Wahl attachments suck.
