Sneaker Exchange FAQ

What is Sneaker Exchange?

Sneaker Exchange is an escrow service that is provided through our Marketplace and is required for all trade transactions. Provided a user follows the guidelines and rules for the service, it ensures you will not be defrauded and not lose any money / items.

How does it work?

In a trade or sale, both users will send their part (either money, items, or both) of the transaction to a participating Sole Collector Administrator. As each part of the transaction is received, we will open the packages and confirm the size, condition, etc.

We will inspect the contents and pictures will be taken to have the item(s) legit checked by the Counterfeit Cartel as needed. Users who send fakes, or bogus packages (i.e., a box of rocks or a phone book) will be banned without warning. Counterfeit goods will not be returned. Once everything checks out, we will then send it out to the respective party with an attached tracking number. If one user does not send their part, it will be treated as a flake, and your item(s) will be shipped back to you. If one item is not as described, we will work to resolve the agreement. By having a "middleman", fraud is cut out completely.

You may contact whichever Admin you feel most comfortable working with. However, please contact only one at a time. If you do not receive a response to your PM within 48 hours, contact another. Please contact one of the Admins below for more information.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $20 USD, per user, per transaction. The fee includes one item only. If shipping multi-shoe packs or unusually large or heavy boxes, there may be an additional fee (ask your Admin). We can ship items to you using many common carriers, such as USPS, Fedex and UPS. Depending on where the Admin you work with is located, a pair of shoes should arrive in 2-4 days cross-country. Individual Admins have their own preferred payment methods.

Is the payment fee refundable if the other user flakes?

No. The $20 fee is non-refundable. Unless you make prior arrangements, your item(s) should arrive at the Admin's location within 7 days and needs to be shipped with a tracking number. You are encouraged to insure your package for the value of its contents, but this is not a requirement. Admins are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Shipments that do not arrive within the designated time period will be considered a flake. Anyone who participates and ends up flaking, their deals will be blacklisted. Flaking wastes our time and the traders who are involved. Those that are blacklisted will be ineligible to participate in future Sneaker Exchange transactions.

What are the restrictions?

Currently, only the Admins listed above offer the exchange service. Do not accept offers from non-staff members to conduct exchanges. Do not accept offers from users who pose as the Admins above. We conduct our services strictly through private messages and through the offer discussions. This service is primarily intended for U.S. based members. Additional charges may apply for international transactions.

Will changes be made to this service?

Terms and conditions may change as we work to streamline its use. Thank you!
