i have a pair of cool grey 9's with discolored patent leather. i wanted to know if it was confirmed yet that retrobright can restore it or not?

I don't believe retrobright can restore patent leather color, but restoremysneakers did a video on how to turn the yellowed patent leather on XI columbias back to white. I would check that out.

I have a pink/purple stain on one of my space jam soles. Will retr0bright remove it?

You can certainly try, it can't hurt.

I've tried using retrobright on mesh and it didn't really work. I would try other methods like dishwashing soap and water. I know some people have tried barkeeper's friend, but I personally haven't so I can't comment on that.

am I the only one who has had a problem with getting the yellowing to the lightest shade as possible. Im aware that the soles will never be DS icey again, but it seems to me that the yellowing is deep in the sole.

I have tried retrobright today on my Fire Reds and I only seen little results on my soles and no results on the netting at all. Is it the fact that theyre real yellow? I made the formula in the first page and was wondering if there was a better formula to clear up my Vs, especially the netting, more effectively?

damn this stuff really does work. Really glad I'm seeing results in my first sessions.

First 2 hour session, left the sauce dry up on the right infrared 6 and rinsed it off with water (minimal results)

Session #2 made another fresh batch, applied it to the outsole then covered it with saran wrap to leave the shoe overnight (6-7 hours) then rinsed it off and got great results.

Gonna try at least one more session to see if I can get it more clear and I will be posting my setup later.

Great results man. Definitely post pics when done

Update on my XI Jams:

Before (bottom one, only did 1 or 2 retrobright sessions):

The last 4 sea glow sessions have not changed the soles at all. It seems that this is the clearest they will get. I've mixed it up and done indoor and outdoor, and it just won't get any clearer.

I'm cleaning the bottom with soap and water, letting them dry, then applying sea glow, scrubbing it in very very good, then reapplying until its pretty wet. I let it sit for an hour or so until it dries up and start the process over again. I've also tried reapplying every 30 minutes so it can't dry up, and it still won't get any clearer.

At this point, I think I just have to accept where they are now.

Anybody have any suggestions on how I can get the soles even clearer? The yellow that's left seems like its very deep seated and just won't change.
