We will definitely help to prevent fraud by enforcing rules and providing a set of guidelines, but anything beyond that is on the user. We really don't feel sorry for the buyer when someone with 0 feedback and 50 posts turns out to be a scammer.
Would there be a way to have the dos/don'ts of the marketplace in bold red letters automatically placed on all listings made? When what not to do is right in your face you can't say that you weren't told about it. It'll be your fault if you get scammed.
I didn't even know(until recently) where the marketplace rules are, never bothered to look, but I have common sense to know right from wrong.

real question
who the hell was the feedback bot guy i mean was he real
has it really been this long since the new marketplace came in effect? damn does time fly
a breakdown of the system before the current marketplace:
-each user made their own thread with all of their stuff for sale (pretty much like any other forum now)
-two users would create a thread called an agreement thread where htey list price, item, terms of payment, etc.
-once the transaction was complete, the feedback bot (a bot user) would post in the thread saying it was finalized, then feedback would be given accordingly. The feedback bot would post some automated messages and send some automated PM's

I remember when i used to do these, sometimes the load would be overwhelming; i eventually started passing cases to the next staff member. You guys need to understand that no one does these cases for fun, and people volunteer their free time for your mistakes.
