LOCKED - Price Jump On 2012 Bred IV's & XI's This Holiday

i think this will thwart resell at some point cuz it won't be worth it

Nike is a business and we can thank the resellers for this price jump. oh well, now i'll just cop 2 instead of 1 and resell the other to make some money back on it so it feels like i'm paying less. fuck it.

I think Jordan Brand has become ridiculous!
1. The quality of the shoes is not the best
2. They limit the release of the Retro's so that a lot of people who really want to buy a pair do not get it
3. The price goes up and up

And honestly there's no way to stop them treating us (fans) like shit!!! As long as we do not boycott them collectively they will keep doing this. cause due to the limitation there'll always be enough (silly) guys to buy the shoes and Retro's will sell out in few hours now as well as in the future! Funny thing is that I will buy the IV and XI eventhough I hate what they're doing. In my mind Jordan Brand is so powerful that they can do whatever they want. Pretty sad, but true!!!

But they should think about what they're doing. The usual Jordan collector is a normal worker or (like I) a student. It's really a huge thing for most of the guys to spend 160$ or even worse 180$-200$ on a pair of shoes and this a couple of times a year.

So JB if you read this: Stop the strict limitation and sell your shoes for fair prices!!!

I am somebody like that. Started collecting in October 2011! And I do not earn my own money as I am on college! But like I said before, Jordan Brand is so powerful that they can do everything they want. As long as there's no collective boycott ther's no way to stop them!

-Yo I work at Footlocker and this shits depressing man,it's ridiculous some people will honestly basically spend 3/4 of their checks on jays, the rest of it on their other vices! But don't have a damn thing to show for it, the shoe Game has really deterioarated , and it's a shame that people will rather be fly than save up for a rainy day or other emergencies, this price increase will honestly affect a lot, such as the shoe game in general and maybe even lives, and it's gonna be a damn shame when people are filing for bankruptcy but still have a fucking iPhone and be tweeting #IGotThemJaysTho... C'mon now, unfortunately peoples values and shit are fucked up, kids are spoiled with no work ethic and now a days to keep kids from selling drugs or doing bad in the streets theyll cough up that change to their kids,nits a disgrace man..

the 11s are worth the $200 in my opinion but the others no. No Jordan should have a price increase though, but the Breds are sick and I would pay the 200 for them

I didn't plan on buying the bred XIs anyway because the CDPs where so bad as far as quality and the cut of the patent leather. JB can keep raising the prices all they want. They looking at the fact that stupid resallers are making sure the kicks sell out on release day. Problem for resallers is that it's so many of them and so to keep from getting stuck with their stock of Js to resale, they have to drop they're prices and likely take a loss.
Example- Lebron elites. Retail for $250 so a resallers has to sell them for $300-$450 to make it worth while. But who's gonna pay that? No one- they are still on shelves at FL, HOH, ect. Soon retailers will mark them down. The same will happen with Jordan's.- not right now because some guys still wanna make a living resale'n Js. But when retros jump up to $215, $225, then $245- I promos you the resale game will die(or start to) and with all that-JB still won't improve the quality. I will never pay over $160 for ANY recent retros. If I can't get them for $160 or less then I'll just miss out.- I want a new car any..lol
