I did these before I knew sh!t about customizing.. I used Delta Ceramics Acrylic Paint aint freehanded everything.... Using the knowledge I've learned from peeking around on this site.... all of my following shoes will be better... The concept came from a few friends at school who wanted to see if I could do it... I'm nice with a pencil but its different with a brush... Love/hate is welcome... Look for more to come though... just a LOT better

Sodaboy - What's up with the base?? Are they like super beat of something? I've never seen a midsole flake like that. The job itself is good for a start. The M&M and spongebob customs are out, they just aren't that functional. If you were just running with a basic theme and practicing, then cool, i can dig it. Just make sure your future stuff you can wear with more than one outfit. The m&ms on the back heal are a bit sloppy, try experimenting with stencils, and maybe raising the logo itself off of the midsole. The colorway is very functional and flowing, not too busy and not too boring. Good idea with the m&ms on the tongue but you have to make them look like m&ms, round with the "m" in the middle, they're very ovular and uninspiring. I would also change the laces to black. These are details that will make your custom great!

SECT - YOO! Good stuff mate! But you're right, camera status is below par. Would like to see more angles (specifically a side angle) to be able to judge the shoes better. The Lava print looks nice from what I can tell, and the pair itself looks all around complete. Maybe change the "AIR" on the midsole from red to black since the soles are already red. Maybe white laces. The Cheeta dunks look good as well, i can't really see the detail of the print, so like the lavas, it looks good from what i can tell. I'm not sure if the lime green swoosh is really working for these. You have such dark, hard colors with the green and black, that to put a wimpy, lime green as the center of the design takes away from the colorway. Even if it's a NEON green, there isn't anything else done with that color to tie it into the design. Two options would be to layer the cheetah print with that color do not only give more dimension to the print, but to tie in the color, or you color change the color of the swoosh to a charcoal grey to match the toe panel. Is there any reason why on both pairs you only decided to do the prints to 2/3s of the shoes? I like it, it's not a bad thing, just curious as to why you went that route.

Hope my constructive criticism helps!

ummm....whats up with the sole on those M&M joints? They look like theyre shedding! The artwork isnt terrible, but the paint looks crazy thick, and the artwork itself could be ALOT better. When doing logos you want to look spot on...those do not, but keep working at it.

I swear we've seen the lava strike and cheeta's before....havent we? Both are clean and straight forward as far as I can tell.

Glad you guys are starting to organize this stuff!

Are you going to enforce this? Such as if a new thread is made with a subpar custom, will it get locked or something of the sort?

Loving the constructive criticism.

Jester- Thanks for the comments and critique.
There isn't any real reason that I do 2/3 of the
shoe with a print to be honest, I think that it's
just the way I like to see it on a pair of shoes.
I usually like something solid on one side and
something that's eyecatching on the other. Makes
a nice balance.

El- Hah you caught me. I had a different Log in on
this site before. I was under the alias of "chrye".
I did post my magenta cheeta's up before but never
the lavastrikes. I'll post a little refresher with some
other shoes that I've done that I just found on my
computer.
