When you get summoned to jury duty, what's your first reaction? Probably something along the lines of "not this shit...". People are reluctant to go the jury duty in the first place and during the selection process a lot of them find their way out. Well the first issue would be getting a diverse crowd into the jury. You know how only certain people vote regularly and attend those dry townhall meetings [if they still exist]? You get my point. Let's not forget that the prosecution can remove jurors for specific reasons [bias, safety, personal involvement, etc.] and for absolutely no reason at all. By that time you got one hell of a jury.

i cant remember the video and im at work and videos are blocked

The policeman should be found guilty
saying you meant to taser and NOT shoot is a BIG mistake
arent both weapons kept on each hip?..one of the left and one on the right?
even if Oscar had gun the cop effed up and shot him when he meant to taser.....sounds open and shut to me
oh and the whole "Bitch-ass n**ger" thing is def grounds for removal..youre a cop not a 3rd grader, just because someone calls you a name doesnt mean you have to say it back

From what I've heard, the case is pretty close to call. And the fact that there are 0 African Americans on the jury is suspect, because the jury is supposed to be a 'jury of peers' and people are outraged by that.
Anybody else keeping up with this Meshlere trial?
It's ridiculous and I don't see it going the right way.
The jury selection is my biggest issue. 0 African Americans, and they knew going in that a juror had booked a vacation and had to leave yet they put them on the jury anyway. One juror called in sick, so they keep having to start over. I see this going straight to a mistrial with Mesherle walking, and no retrial by the DA

FORREAL
NO one likes jury duty
thats incentive to SPEED the case up..."man i dont think he is guilty but everyone else does. Let me agree so we can get outta here"
does your job still pay you regularly + the 40 or so they give for jury duty?

This.
I believe so as well.
There emergence came when Obama came. I heard nothing of the TeaParty when Bush was in office.
But they have called Obama out on a lot of things[/quote:1cb3a7fd61]
So you never heard of the Boston Tea Party??? The colonist throwing out the tea and protesting against the British for raising taxes.
The recent tea parties are the same thing excluding the tea. Tea parties were organized protests against Obama and the goverments spending. Saying tea party is racist makes no sense and just plain ignorance.[/quote:1cb3a7fd61]
You're taking everything I say and bending it.
I realize that the name comes from the Boston Tea Party, [b:1cb3a7fd61][size=18:1cb3a7fd61]but these people were no where to be found in recent years until Obama,[/size:1cb3a7fd61][/b:1cb3a7fd61] and Obama isn't the only President who has fucked up[/quote:1cb3a7fd61]
Who are the ones organizing these tea parties? Who was president before Obama? What party did he belong to??
Did the democrats organize a tea party against Bush?

"Tea Parties" are different from "The Tea Party Movement." "tea parties" are groups for protesting whatever, the "tea party movement" did not emerge until Obama.
Watch some uncensored Tea Party protests. Listen and look around.
They're an unorganized group of crazies. None of them can agree on what their objective is, all they know is they don't like Obama.[/quote:1cb3a7fd61]
Ask the anti-Bush people why didn't organize a tea party movement against Bush.[b:1cb3a7fd61] But saying tea party movements against Obama is "racist" is plain ignorance.[/b:1cb3a7fd61]
[b:1cb3a7fd61]During the elections I was 17[/b:1cb3a7fd61], so I wasn't able to vote. But my parents voted McCain cause he's the closest thing to a conservative. But come November, im voting.
IMO, Obama is definetly not getting a 2nd term. With all these tea party movements, low approval ratings and his believed to be "socialist" policies. The health care bill is flopping, he supposedly said he'll create more jobs but unemployments rate are increasing, and of course the BP oil spill.l[/quote:1cb3a7fd61]
Figures....
I thought this thread had potential with the "no conspiracy theories" clause, but then I skimmed the first page and decided that no one was abiding by it.
