I am completely for arguments, but only in a mature form. Please keep your nonsense and bullshit out of here if you have no idea what you are talking about. Arguing is fine, but make sure it's MATURE.
I don't know how this will do, but we'll see.
I will start this off I guess by saying:
People are blowing Obama's 'lack of action' way out of proportion.
If there was an easy solution to the BP spill, he would have already done so.
There's no way of simply saying let's clean it up. His 'lack of action' is due to the fact that there really is nothing to do. It's out of his reach.
Anyone??
I'm trying to start some discussion at least.
What are your opinions on Obama?
My educated comment about politics is this: first off who or what caused the oil spill? Who caused 911 because that was not a 'terrorist attack'. They still couldnt find evidence on that. I read plenty history books and history is repeating itself again and again maybe in different ways but they still will continue to repeat itself.
Obama, well what can i say about him? congrats that hes the president, the only change i seen him make was with the 1% increase in the military pay.
O if you want to know who was behind 9/11 then you should guys should watch zeigeist heres a link to both of them there long as hell but you'll learn so much from both of them

Agreed. People have every right to be angry, but like the old saying goes we cant continue to cry over (still spilling) milk. What we should focus on is ways to stop this from happening again. There is no way to have this fixed over night and even though its natural human nature to look for someone to place blame on, the person who is heading the relief effort cant really take the heat here. He's doing everything he can whilst BP plays their "we're sorry" commercials. And the same people who I see complaining about the spill are the same people lined up infront of their local BP filling their SUV's up every other morning.

About a year and a half into his term, and he hasn't achieved much in the people's eyes.
It's hard to achieve anything when you have 8 years of trash. People are so eager to see things happen because of the damage Bush did, and Obama promised "Change." His whole campaign was focused on that word, and people are mad because they want to see that. This guy is ridiculously smart, but it hasn't been seen yet during his term. Nobody knows what he's about yet. I've seen a comparison to a poker game. It's like he's still trying to hide his hand from everyone.
