Reading the Audi drivers spots about oil usage just thought I'd kick some stuff off. I see that some of you maybe changing your oil in the car to soon. Recommended Audi spec since 07ish has been first service at 5k next at 15k then every 10k or 1 year. There is a caveat of the vehicle requiring a quart of oil every 2500-4000 miles. This is all dependent on your driving style and conditions. Always look in your owners manual or ask a dealership for their service list. There maybe a few engine variants that require more changes but the 2.0ts and newers are on that 10k a change.

does anybody else find it a little ridiculous that the 3 series, c class, even E class comes with fake leather seats as a standard option?

It's a luxury car, leather should be a standard. I know there are many arguments that the BMW's "leatherette" wears better and is easier to maintain but still..

Nothing surprises me anymore, after all, it's 2013, all manufacturers will try to cut cost anywhere possible, all while sucking your wallet dry at the end of the day
