Kobe Bryant had nothing to do with the original marketing of this shoe.
This is how Nike marketed that shoe.

It actuality, yes, thats how the shoe was marketed.
It may have been a different story had someone not fallen for the 'kryptonite'.
One could make a strong case that the 2K4 could have been the original Zoom Kobe I.
That's neither here nor there but Kobe has the strongest tie to the 2K4. So much so that many loosely consider it a part of his signature line.
Anyway.....I'm not really a Ducks fan but some of my friends are and I like the Volt as an alternate. So.....

sweet, may have to do 1 (esp @ $175) can we get 2k4 prices please Nike? What did these retail at before anyways?
Price tag is a bit hefty, but I will surely be getting at least 1
