Not that I know, I feel like PD has done all their focus on GT Academy, all we've been getting are more and more seasonal events.

It's a program where the best of the best GT players compete in GT, the top group of players have a chance to fall into actual motorsports.
As far as I know, two GT Academy contestants have become race car drivers/ FIA GT
