If Chelsea doesn't give Drogba a new contract, I will be deeply saddened. My favorite footballer behind Henry.

Man, I hear you. Despite what everyone says about Drogba, he is a quality player who gives 100% every time he touches the ball. I've read and heard that a UCL win could keep Drogba at Chelsea but then I've also read that even if they win the CL, he would be asking for a lot of money, money that apparently Abramovich doesnt want to spend.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Nothing but a quality player. I'm not sure what Drogba wants, but I hope Abramovich will offer him a fair contract even if Chelsea does not win the CL.
In regards to Anelka luring Drogba to China, I'd rather have Drogba stay in the EPL so I can actually watch him lol.

I read he wants a 2 year deal, but also another EPL team was interested as well. I know he can get big $ in China, but honestly, who wants to play there when you can get good $ in a major European league?

Haha, just saw this on the front page of SC that Nike is partnering up with Manchester City. Looks like even Nike is jumping on the train and why not? Profits will come from both Manchester teams now especially with more and more people starting to root for City and we're all aware of the big fan base United already has. So I say its a good move by Nike. Eager to see the new kits from Nike already.
