for some reason when Skype or yahoo messager i plug my beats by dre in my computer using the female to 2 male cable, and the person i am talking too , cant hear me but i can hear them ? can you help ?

Ahhh, I record and I had the same problem with my audio setup. Basically you have the straight end part of the cord going into the splitter, rather than the angled headphone part. Just switch ends basically
