just picked up a couple things from adorama. great company but im a little disappointed in my recent purchase. i picked up a condition E- Nikon d300. got it yesterday and straight out the box i had problems. its have a malfunction where after i take a couple shots the mirror will stay in the up position. after i take a few more shots it will fall back down. ive read online that this can be a common thing will older d300's. i checked the shutter count and low and behold its got 264,000 shutter count! sending it back for a refund and possibly getting a d2h instead. i did however pick up a nikon 80-200mm 2.8 ed af (version 1) and i gotta say this thing is awesome!

damn im super jealous, the 80-200 af is next on my list, its beautiful...sorry about your d300, I have noticed that they kinda embellish their ratings imo, I got my nikkor 50mm f/1.4 thru them and I am very disappointed with the quality...Good luck tho on getting that resolved...

just keep your eye out for the 80-200 man, the one i picked up was only $389. its got a few dings here and there but it is sharp as hell. The auto focus isnt bad either. as for the camera, ill prolly just return it for a refund and try keh.com, they have pretty good prices.

I need a AF-S if you decide to sell one of your many!
Oldie but still a goodie... It compliments the 1D3... I guess it is true that good things do come in 3's...
