No one in that series had a bust size smaller than a D [that one little girl included]. I remember one scene was a bullet traveling in slow motion. It passed by one of the girls bending over and went between her boobs as if that shit parted like the Red Sea and then they realigned. Srsly? IRL that girl would have gotten capped in her mammaries.
Ordered Full Metal Panic Fumoffu since it hit a pretty nice pricepoint and I think Kevin recommended it.

You guys got some good taste. Saeko ftw!
But I think I can see where you guys are coming from. Too much of anything is bad and with this anime, there's just a bit
too much ecchi.
And I'll agree with Brian, the zombie outbreak in a high school setting sounded pretty cool but I'll kinda agree with you guys with the little too much skin.
Some of it may be unnecessary, but I guess it's what made the show their own show. A bunch of girls with tig ol bitties and guns and zombies.
Seitokai Yakuindomo was a good watch. I enjoyed that little intro of random Student Council rules and how you can't judge the girls by their looks. I wasn't expecting that kind of topic to be the sole attention of both Shino and Aria, but it was indeed enjoyable.
I started Full Metal Panic, it was okay and it was funny here and there but I got bored and didn't finish it. Main dood can't differentiate between work and play,

. But that's me, maybe you'll get a different reaction to the anime.
Almost done with Haruhi and I'm also watching Mayoi Neko Overrun! Good anime to pass the time. Another harem type of anime with the usual girls with big boobs, dood gets put into weird situations like accidentally walking into one of the girls changing and gets yelled at and/or beat up, and the main guy trying to stay neutral.

BRING BACK .GIF AVYS!
It doesn't have to be every time.
It can be one time out of a hundred, but I'd like you to remember me.
Because I'll be there, beyond the 1% barrier.

Haruka, yeeeee.
Personality wise, I enjoyed Ayatsuji.
Yummmmm.
Dang, if only they continued making Tenjou Tenge anime. That was an awesome show. I liked the idea of what type of school it was and the students that went there.
[quote:a887acae0e="Korupshun"]So, since this thread just started, why not explain why it was such a disappointment? Let's keep this thread going.[/quote:a887acae0e]
Here are two things I have on movies/shows; I love a good story and I love anything zombies. I'm not one of those people who waltzes into movies expecting something super-complex/emotional rollercoaster/bomb cinematography, nitpick any wrong and come out unsatisfied. I just want to be entertained. With me, you can't go wrong with zombies no matter how "bad" it is. This violated both. A zombie outbreak in a high school setting sounded like a pretty damn good plot line to me. What I got was anime pronz and characters that stretched a bit much. I also hated how it rolled end credits then have another 5 minutes of content after the credits. I never had to force myself to finish a show before. If a movie or show is gonna suck, a character can save everything for me. That would've been Saeko. She knew what to do and was good at it. The downer was she was batshit insane.
I actually agree with Brian on that in regards to HSotD. I was looking up on new animes to watch and that had some good reviews. I mean, zombies and girls, what's not to like. When I watched the first episode, it wasn't bad and figured it would pick up. I managed to finish the first season and was kinda disappointed.
1. As the anime progressed, it felt like they rushing the plot kinda, but I couldn't figure out where they were going.
2. The random fan service/ecchi scenes (excluding Saeko getting wet ) but it's like, that spear girl (forgot her name) hits a zombie and it shows you an upskirt scene showing her panties.
3. I don't understand the point of showing a short 1-2 minute scene after the credits.
I'll wait and check out season 2 and hope it improves and at least pick up on the plot.
In the meantime, I started watching Super Robot Taisen OG. Also trying to finish Seitokai Yakuindomo.

So I'm taking a big interest in Strike Witches.
Tell me if you like it or not. I haven't watched any of it yet, but when I look at it, all I see are girls with guns and airplane engines as legs.
[quote:6e5a479703="jeffori"]I still don't know where to find those box sets lol[/quote:6e5a479703]
Some of those animes you asked for were from this season so those won't be out in the US for a while.
As the name suggests, its basically "Witches" that they use to attack outerspace alien life forms.
Its worth mentioning that all the girls "pilot" machines that represent real World War II combat planes..and that every girl is of a different ethnic background [aka every participating country in ww2]
Theres a lot of panty shots and fan service in general, seeing how every time they get inside the machines their animal tails and ears come out..
But its interesting enough that they managed to get through 2 seasons already.
Also, for the box sets, I was probably just wishful thinking. I think Shuffle! has been licensed by I believe FUNimation and is out for full release already. But if they come in original Japanese dub w/eng subtitles?
I CAN ONLY HOPE. I went on the funimation website for shuffle, and the girls sound soooo preppy.
Oooo, I dig the idea of using WWII planes and how each girl has an ethnic background of a country that took part in WWII.
I remember seeing a lot of Strike Witches figurines on Danny Choo's blog. I've always wondered what anime that was.
Any of you know him and/or reads his blog? Dood lives an awesome life in Japan and all he blogs about is anime, anime conventions, stores/restaraunts around Tokyo, and what he does on the daily. And if you've seen a video of a dood dressed up as a Storm Trooper dancing in the middle of the streets of Tokyo, that's him.
Link to his blog, http://www.dannychoo.com/
A friend of mine told me about shuffle but I never really looked into it. Looks interesting.
Box sets huh. So I guess I'm not alone when it comes to going for a hard copy. What do you have?
Anyone have any input on Eden of the East?
