Yessir. I'm thinking about going, if the tix are cheap enough. I the big names probably won't get that much burn but I want to see how our future looks with these rooks.
If you are anticipating on looking forward of Iman and Harrelson it would be in a different jersey. Iman and Harrelson along with Fields and Douglas could be heading out if CP3 is going to be dealt to the Knicks.
Agree with Brandon, a third team is going to have to come in and sweeten up the deal for NO to let go of CP3.
Any suggestions what team can jump in to help the Knicks out?

^^ I think the Knicks are going to try hard to keep Iman. We're left with essentially no back court if that kind of package is offered.
Knicks have to start by picking up some veteran players. Players like Shannon Brown, Shane Battier

Forget about paul, at least for now. We would have to give up too much and its risky. What we need is a consistent 6th man like Crawford and better role players. Regardless I am looking forward to seeing how Stoudemire plays this season.

^ at least we can see how Douglas and Fields improved and finally see Iman Shumpert and Harrelson play.
You don't need to get something for the sake of getting something. Cleveland, who got jack shit, is in the best rebuilding position of all the teams who lost stars recently.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over losing out on Landry Fields if i'm the Hornets and Paul walks. I'm not going to giftwrap him to say "we got something."
I agree that NO will not trade paul for just something but Cleavland is not in the best rebuilding position because they have 2 lottery players who are truly not special. There is not much tremendous talent in the draft pipeline. Also NO is owned by the NBA and they need to sell tickets to live, so I feel that NO will trade paul to a team that he won't sign an extension with in return for some long term talent. Boston is the only team I can think of now but the Knicks could work some magic to get Paul and Dwight.

The guys haven't even played games yet...how they'll fair in the league is still up in the air, though I thought the last draft weak. Still, they have the start of what could be their core and a ton of extra draft picks they've brought back from trades. They'll amnesty Baron to get into a better position financially and will still be bad enough to keep racking up what will likely be high lottery picks for at least 2-3 years.
That's a hell of a lot of magic that would need to work to pick both of those guys up. And would certainly involve getting rid of one of the current "big two" in NY.

In all honesty, I was excited that we got Melo last year but I wanted a big 3 of D12, STAT and CP3. I think the Knicks would've been better off with that because D12 and CP3 makes less max money than Melo so they can add some key piece(s). Replace D'Antoni with a defensive minded coach and run an inside outside game all day..
