Chill?? What? Really? SMH You should understand he isn't the only one over this season to make silly claims(hints comment about J.R smith above). I was asked by a Knicks fan to call out all the bandwagon rider in here not too long ago.Why because they say dumb shit, making all the fans look bad.

so when does Lin get back?
and Fields needs to do something soon. i don't want JR starting cause he has the worst shot selection on the team and he ballhogs a lot.
Lately he hasnt chuck up shot like he would in Denver. Not a bad idea to start him. Maybe Fields would get his act right and fight back for the spot. The problem here is that the coach has done nothing about him. Bench him for the start of a game or two.
^^He was posting a lot in the beginning of the season. he recently posted a couple of pages back but yea he's been somewhat MIA recently. lmao i find it extremely ironic how in the beginning of the season under D'Antoni, which is a system that requires a lot of ball movement, Melo would always go into an Iso and force up a post up shot. Now under Woodson, who has more of an iso friendly offensive system, Melo decides to pass it out rather than force up shots.
Most likely cuz he's not tryna have that "ballhog" tag he's been given recently. It was cool in Denver because the system and team was structured for him to be "the go to guy." Now that he's in NY with a better cast shit's different. Its not totally his fault because they brought in 2 superstar guys with the same game but all fans see is him forcing the issue and getting his teammates out of rhythm, coming back and ruining a 8 game win streak, and killing the momentum of a rising PG Jeremy Lin. D'Antoni never really had to deal with a "superstar" in his best years coaching... Steve Nash has always been a pass 1st, best shot guy, & never ego tripped. No one complained about touches because that PHX team was the epitome of Run n' Gun basketball. Melo knows that NY is not a place that you don't want the fans to like you and he's making smart adjustments.

dumb like me putting brady in the same sentence as sanchez and rivers?
sometimes people throw out stupid shit because they know it riles up die hard forum keyboard smashers. i do it i admit that, but more so how does one judge who is riding the bandwagon or not? homeboy lin is the epitome of bandwagon, but in my eyes thats just straight up hate because NO ONE was a fan of his before he broke out.
In terms of riding the knicks bandwagon, let me put this into perspective for you. There was a time during the winter when the only headlines the newspapers and espn would cover is YANKEES OFFSEASON ACQUISITIONS. And now with both the Rangers and Knicks playing well, it's giving NY something else to cheer about. So whether you feel peeps are dick riding the knicks wagon or not, just stop hating. should I be up in the Lakers forums gasing up everyone who is supporting Sessions? Some of us DIE HARDS don't need to post up in here all the time for every game, what would we have said back then...David Lee went for 32 points and we still lost? The fact that NY can cheer for it's basketball team now really shows how other cities hate that NY gets any sort of shine, my solution to that is, there's plenty of apartments to rent here in NY so you're more then welcome to come chill with us.

I'm not really blaming Melo for anything b/c the way this season happened, there isn't any one person that people can point their finger at for the teams struggles. The thing that aggravated me when this team was losing in the beginning of the season was Melo kept taking bad shots when he clearly had open teammates with better looks. But whatever, the fact that we're starting to play well under Woodson I really shouldn't be complaining about anything.
Woodson is a solid coach... he doesn't get his credit for the work he put in and STILL resulting success he got in ATL. Everything happens for a reason cuz had it not been for Lin, D'Anotni would've been gone and we possibly never would've seen him shine. I hope NY is smart and keeps him on as head coach, they could save all that money on PJ and let him build them up.
I generally tend to lean towards the idea of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality so yeah if Woodson keeps on improving this team i wouldn't have a problem having him as the head coach.

^Fields needs to not take 3's so often, he's most effective when he's slashing.
