If they keep playing like this even when STAT & Melo come back, I wouldn't mind D'Antoni sticking around. At the end of the day it's about winning. Lin, Shumpert, and Fields are quite active defensively. Not the best man to man defenders (although Iman is solid) but collectively, they create a lot of turn overs via strips and deflections.
well-put. it all really depends how far the 'system' can take this team. its never been a proven method in the playoffs though, a defensive mind set would help to go along with it, since the backcourt provides really solid team defense. all qucik enough to rotate around, Iman is really good and Lin plays pretty hard, he takes charges and is physical. Fields has always been decent but is a great rebounder to compensate. just somebody with a defensive mindset would be key to help everyone buy into it.
KURUPT - love all those coaches, any one of them would be great lol. but Douglas, yeah...long as he's getting paid hah.
Lakers game is going to be a test, for sure. TC will play Bynum, great matchup since both are playing like all-stars, but TC might get into foul trouble I'm assuming. Maybe if Jeffries can draw like 4 charges on Gasol like he did last game lmfao.
