Has anyone had any issues with those random bag checks in the subway stations?

On my way to work today, the NYPD was doing a random bag check for passengers entering the 36th St. station in Brooklyn, and apparently they decided to check the bag of a woman with kids, so her traveling partners held an N train that just arrived on the Manhattan-bound platform for her, but she took a while to come down, so the conductor and a transit policeman came out to see why these people were wedging themselves in the door to hold the train. The passengers must've gotten into it with them, because the conductor called the NYPD upstairs, and three officers came down to the platform to see what was wrong. The officers must've done something to get these people upset, because they got hopping mad in a hot second - and the police MACED and detained three of them and hauled them out to the street.

I mean - it's not cool to hold the train for over five mins, but was it really necessary for the NYPD to MACE and CUFF the guys? I think the cops around here really need to take a chill pill.
Will put something here when it is appropriate to do so

He probably didn't want to hear any shit from his cop buddies. You mean you had to subdue a non violent train passenger without beating the piss of out them? Officer Ghandi here is putting us at risk by not asserting his position.

That little shot of adrenaline that came when he asserted his position is what turns 'gain control/handle' into 'dominate the ever loving shit out of' a situation.
Bought some Jordans from Japan,
paid close to a grand,
showed it to my man,
he said `Ap you know its a scam`.
The price was costly,
honestly I think you should toss these,
look like the Jordan logo got cerebral palsy. Apathy: Bootleg :: Baptism By Fire.
