I just put mine on today and everyone was asking how i had them early. But best of all everyone that i know whos a big collector said they were as close to originals as possible.
FYI they are not close to originals,they are close to 02's. Guess they aren't as big of collectors as you think. Still a very nice shoe though.

it took me a minute to find this thread!
i regret sleeping on the chicago 10s in jan besides that none of the other js this year have caught my interest but these shits right here?!?!?! ****katt williams voice*****
i've been waiting for these since i heard they were dropping and i couldn't be happier that they changed them to all black instead of the dmp styling that they showed in earlier photos this year. and the quality looks to be on point.......... i can't wait!!!!! i need to a connect! hopefully all the hype around the other shoes this month will hurt peoples pockets and they will pass on these making an easy cop, but now days it is outta control so you never know but these are one of my all time fav js, just so clean! i NEED these,lol yes these are a NEED pair for ya boy

Those pics were bad quality,the original release was never as black as the 02 release. Not to mention the change in laces. I've heard people try and say they faded over time but the shoes are made of one material, the whole shoe would have faded. Never the less the 02 release is a very nice shoe in its own right.
