When you win championships on a regular basis and have made the NBA finals on a regular basis like the Lakers, they dont get measured for winning a fking division or conference banner. Teams that hang division and conference championship banners are the teams that dont win regularly or have never won.
Thats for sure BUT they make is seem like the Lakers are so scared to face OKC,Spur or even Memphis.
The diff is the Lakers don't get the benefit of doubt. The Knicks get this y'all don't want to see us in the playoffs treatment. Man fuk that how about teams that actually win playoff games in last 5 years.

I know most media members live, born,raised, in New York and like the New York Knicks but damn do they give them a pass. The only team that gets the benefit of the doubt other then Clippers and OKC. They get told they have the "potential" after every lose to be the best team in the NBA. Many of them have the Knicks BEATING the Bulls and it's a toss up vs Miami. If Miami or the Bulls had the Knicks record they wouldn't even pick Miami or the Bulls to beat Orlando without Dwight.
The Lakers get the championship or bust treatment from the media, Spurs get no credit, Miami get overblown for everything, the Bulls don't get enough respect.
The Knicks have HUGE potential to be a very dangerous team. On paper they have a solid starting lineup, and a fairly deep bench. It's unfortunate they haven't been able to pull it together.
Idk about your statement about most media members being from NY ... The Knicks have been bashed plenty this year and the past couple of years.
