Interchangeable innersoles with sockliner including booty for additional ankle support and lock down - zoom and max(from memory). Scales disappear, in placement of a stronger upper, no specific panelling/texture that I know of yet. Doubt it will be lined though. More ankle support through firmer packed heel cup and sock liner etc. Thats all I've got for now.. This has been the subject of much debate, with prototype and wear test samples showing both the fractal geometric design and full-length herringbone pattern alternately. Even more, performance-focused sneaker fans have begged in vain for a return to herringbone since it was last used on the Zoom Kobe IV. This new Kobe VII image looks like Nike Basketball decided to split the difference, literally. A segmented line provides herringbone traction to the medial side of the shoe, while the triangle-shaped solid rubber pattern takes care of the rest of the shoe. Also seen in this new image is the carbon fiber midfoot plate and what appears to be continued usage of the braille-like œKOBE KODE embedded in the arched rubber at the midfoot point. I'm liking the concept. Of course, the finished product could be something way different. I'm liking what I see so far so I can't wait to see what CW's they come up with.

hmmm...snuck the last one in with the white midsole. i'm diggin' the concept, let's see what comes up. hopefully they make some real lakers c/w's this time around, opposed to the black/yellow bullshit from this season.
