blast off:
this gitd sole is different than anything nike has done IMO. its the best one (holds the charge longer, requires less light, etc.) yet.
definite co-sign to this, just walking around in light then going to a slightly darker area you'll see a visible and very cool difference

so glad i was able to secure my pairs. to some people it might be gimmicky but to me i think they only make the shoe pop more. when was the last time you remember nike using GITD in their shoes? not trying to make hype for the shoe. but IMO these are gonna be one of the must haves of the entire KD collection...
cosign. they're definitely a-must for my collection. will copp the christmas coppers next. I got into KDIV'S late

For me GITD soles weren't a must, I am a 27 year old after all.
I've actually gotten a lot more looks and comments about my Christmas KD's instead of the ASG's, for what it's worth.
that doesn't mean anything. I'm 25, I like them cause of the theme this year. I could care less if they gitd or not. those coppers are very nice too. I have a guy in my are letting them go for $130

Just got my size 11. Didnt try on yet. I am a true to size 10.5. I have the kd coppers but they fit kinda tight. So I went a .5 size up. I heard that you have to go a .5 up on the ASG. Is this true?
yeah .5 up sounds right. I copped my YOTD @ 10.5 (tts) and had to sell and buy an 11.

I need a 10 or an 10.5 If the prices creep near $200 on eBay, I may just grab them

I'd say for most people you need to go .5 to 1 size up on the KD4's but they actually fit TTS for me with regular socks. The Christmas KD's actually hurt the little toe on both feet the first time I wore them but they broke in and fit pretty nicely now.

size 11 over here as well
yeah the GITD effect on these is just ridiculous. it's more of a super-bright-glow-in-any-slightly-dim-area effect than a glow-in-the-dark effect. love it.
