Looks like canvas to me, not denim. All in all a nice shoe but not nice enough for me to run out and buy a pair.....

I agree that they're canvas and I def think they would look a little better with red laces, however these just don't do it for me. I could see myself picking these up if they went on sale for like $50.

must be the fact im on a 20" monitor but if you look at the fraying around the edges it definitely looks like denim
