Offspring and the guys from New Balance have teamed up to produce a limited number of Harris Tweed 576's in two colours. Exclusive to Offspring, these 576's mix iconic 80's running design with original Harris Tweed to produce something special for the coming winter months.

For centuries the islanders of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra, which lie between the Highlands of Scotland and the North Atlantic Ocean, have woven the magical cloth the world knows as Harris Tweed. The cloth is hand-woven using pure virgin wool that has been dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.

In the early 80's there was excess stock of the 675 sole unit, a running shoe designed for runners who wanted a firm training shoe with outstanding stability and durability. In 1986 a footwear designer in the Boston office altered the materials and the colours of the upper and the 576 was born. The 576 has developed iconic status in the sneaker world and has become the discerning choice from Tokyo to New York.

Landing in Offspring stores Saturday 15th September and limited to 60 pairs per colour!!!

i want a pair.. they're real nice and they look REAL comfy.. and a lot of em come in suede. can't go wrong

I own quite a few pairs of NB's, and i love them. Will post some pics later on.

Dennis, nice pics of the "toothpaste" NB's, I heard about them, but I haven't seen them until now. They look really simple and clean.

yeah it seems not too many dig NB in the states.. anyone got a good collection of NB?

anyone know how much for them new 990s that has a cw that is similar to atmos viotechs am1s?

Those 990's retail at £85 ($170) in the UK.

I don't like the new harris tweed 576's. They were originally done as a NB UK GR about three years ago, Offspring's designs are as uninspiring as usual.

You can see on the eyelets 200 or 250.

But 250 was just a try on one eyelet

yeah beat me to punch LMNOP on the tweeds.... saw that.... iono. just not my style though.... i think the construction is gonna be fly as hell... suede looks butter, but its not doing it for me...

i'm praying toothpaste willl have a few online... or that size will come out with there GOD DAMN CLERKS online...

i religiously check size, & solebox everyday....
