This speckeld shit is available in pretty much almost all soles of newer releases.
It doesn't add shit to the shoe, and to be honest I really don't like it. I mean, I really don't care about seeing this in the soles, but if Nike starts to add this crap on the midsoles, it'll suck.
i just got back into sb's after a 3 or 4 year hiatus, for me it was sumthing i havnt seen yet. i think its cool, but i wouldnt want it on every dunk i grab

Most SB dunks made in the past few years have had this speckled rubber compound in them. It's either for biodegradability, or for grip, or possibly even just to save money, since they know everyone's going to buy their kicks either way. Who knows? Notice how they don't use real gum rubber anymore on their "gum" colorways? I smile at all of this talk about "level of quality" and what not.
