He's Canadian so he doesnt have that killer mentality. I think GSP and Jones are probably the most talented fighters in all of MMA and I happen to like GSP. He just seems like a nice dude but, not as a fighter. We've had these discussions before, it's a love/ hate with guys like GSP.

Kobe- big difference btwn Condit and GSP is that Condit dost finish fights but, he never really tried to finish that fight against Diaz. He cruised for a win and when your called "the Natural Born Killer" you cant cruise to a nod.

Eff'n bullsheit.... Y they even test for pot is beyond me.... Its not enhancing anything other then maybe coping with the bumps and scrapes better... Blaah.. he shouldda known better..... He may quit MMA if he get suspended again. He already made the remark after losing to Condit. and it would be a dammm shame if h does...

Testing for drugs like pot is to protect the fighters from themselves. Yes, it doesn't enhance performance, but can hinder a person, make their reaction time slow and what not. Then he leaves himself open to a pummeling, which is bad for your health. I'm not anti-pot or anything, but rules are rules and if the rules say you can't smoke dope before fights, then you have to adhere or face consequences. This is 3rd of 4th time for Diaz, so I don't know. Thing is, a lot of fighters who train with Nick Diaz smoke pot, but know to get off the stuff a month or so before the fight and they don't test positive. Nick Diaz either has a drug problem or self destructive nature because right when it looks like he's going to take off, he does something bone-headed and fucks his career up.

holy crap guys, I didn't realize UFC 144 card was so stacked! Sad that only one Japanese fighter made the main card (Akiyama I think is Korean born...but whatever)


I'm so confused, Bendo is one of my favorite fighters, but Frankie is from my home state and I've never rooted against him. bleh. I'm just hoping for a good fight I guess

I understand why they have the rules in place but at the same token if your a pothead like Diaz clearly is then Im guessing its not hindering performance at this stage of the game But, for safety sake the powers that be have to do what they need to do.

Who ever's in Diaz's camp isn't doing a great job of keeping his head straight. Then again.. Diaz should do a better job. It sucks to hear. He's def one of my fav fighters..

Sole- that card is stacked to the gills.. If franky can stop Bendo he might the greatest LW nod ever....

Frankie very well may be the greatest LW of all time if he beats Bendo. Come Feb 25th, I'm not going to read any txts, go on the internet, and try my best not to hear about any results of the event. Damn far east coast time difference.

i thought he ran a lot more than he should after all this was supposed to be a dog fight.
