Very vague statement, can you be more specific.

I think it's oversaturated with kids buying the kicks and don't care or know about the history of the shoe...or even the shoe itself. Especially with Jordans, some of these kids never seen a game of Jordan, but you see them rockin his shoes because they are popular...have always been popular. With the older guys, around 21 and older can remember seeing all of those games, and getting pissed when the Jordan releases and can't get them because the parents were too broke, or we didn't make our grades. Shit I remember when space jam came out and I had my first pair of 11s, but when he played that final game in those space jam 11s I was like "damn....i gotta get those" Hell I remember when hoopin, everyone wanted the number 23, it's not like that now, but for some reason these sales are skyrocketing....it's just crazy to me because of the lack of love for the shoe and the history of it...it makes collecting shoes a fad, and not a culture
just my opinion though

Older Generation (People in the game before 2000-03); love for it, comradery, and homage to the players and the greats who wore and created the shoes
Our Gen ration ( 04 and up); Making money, showing off, and making money. I fell maybe 10% of people who buy a lot of kicks who are age of 14-25 actually do it for the love of the game and the other 90% do it for the outcomes given above.
Not saying that just because you started in 07 that's the definite case, or if you're one of the older collectors you just do it because you genuinely like the shoe but that's what I've collected from being on this forum for three years.SEEMS LIKE IT. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
