The Idea of this Thread is for the more knowledgable of the Sports Fans and Betting Afficianado's of SC not only to discuss bets and odds, but also to highlight odds and games which seem to present a decent return.
Any sport and any betting field is welcome, as well as any level of gambler, but please make sure if you are quoting odds that you also quote the betting fields, the bookie giving the odds and other information such as the point spread etc to make life easier.
Also let us know of any bets that worked out well or not so well.
I personally find watching full games of most sports a bit of a bore nowadays without a couple of bucks on the line at least, so hopefully some of you sports experts can make life easier as far as picking good bets with some decent odds!
And lastly,
- No Bullshit
- If you are new to betting or want to know more about betting or any terms and tactics, feel free to ask, but don't come barreling in all noob like. Sit back and read a few pages first.

I would say the fact the Pats are favored to win the Superbowl. I think its only like 3 point spread at max. For football that's not really nothing.Thats just saying the Pats win.Now if it was anything over 3 points that would be a must take bet,because most playoffs games come down to 3 point fgs.

Yeah I'm giving up with spread betting on the Heat too. Rarely do they win convingly, and like hoefer said, it isn't worth the risk at 10/11.
I went a few pounds on the Pats last night. Didn't turn out great. Obviously. As soon as Brady concieded that first safety on the intentional grounding I knew it was gonna be a long night.
Any gems in tonights games? All Im seeing is CHI Vs NJN with a +9 adv for NJ.
Chicago are winning, for sure, but a 9 point spread? Gotta be worth a punt.

After their win by 3the to the Pistons last week, it was the only loss on my 6way teamer.
If I wasn't already busy, I would've hedged it.
This I the first SB I haven't bet on this year. Game is too close and I can't call it.

I thought they are. I checked and saw that the spread was 3, buts basically mean's an even game
I meant I wish NE was given 3, not giving 3.
I made a prop bet on NE -6.5, got a nice little plus money price. There's no money to be made just betting the normal line of NE at -110 to win by 3+
