LOCKED - GALAXY release thoughts: How to make it better?

what do you guys think about the galaxy release? you think nike over did it or it was perfect?

This is a good place for people to give there thoughts on what went wrong/ what went right. Lets hear what you guys and girls think.

I might get killed for this, but I think the Flight One "mints" are the best shoe that released. The other shoes are cool in their own way, but overall I think it's the best shoe. As far as how the release went I think it was too stressful. You shouldn't have to go crazy wondering where or how you will be able to get a shoe as much as you had to with these releases. I think Nike needs to sit down and discuss expanding their "very limited" releases. They don't have to release 200,000 pairs of one shoe, but 2,000 (whatever the exact number) is ridiculous.

-release more pairs to the general public -stop with the limited quantities for every release bullshit -get better servers thats about it.

I kind of have a problem with the retailers as well.. It was a lot of iffy junk going on... I say after awhile and you see the line gets that long and the police are there.. Retailers should announce how many pair of shoes they have and send pick after that amount out of line.. It cuts down on the chaos.. Idk really.. Nike needs to just rethink how they do all their big releases, but then again they want..

Raffles for every release Doubt anyone would have a problem with that A hour before the store opens do the raffle and release before the stores open everyone has a chance simple and easy

How to make it better? Get myself a pair of anything

a guy on nt mentioned having preorders to see how many need to be made beforehand. nike should do that.

1. Each store needs to let the people know how many sizes they have. Then i would let those people in an hour before release and get the police to get rid of everyone else. 2.Release online if you want to limit the sizes of the crowd.

The only reason this shoe is so hyped is because of the extremely limited quantities. Personally, even if they made this a GR, I wouldn't cop. Simply because, it doesn't appeal to me. To answer the question, no, none of us, or even Nike, can make this release "better." When you release an extremely limited shoe, chaos and riots is inevitably going to happen. I'm surprised no one was stabbed for these. There is really only one solution. [b]Make enough pairs for everyone to grab.[/b]
