My first time being scammed, more than upset and mad about it. Lost out on a lot of money. User IBBYXROSIE scammed me out of $830 which I know I would not get back. Live and learn, lesson learned never send money order again. Strictly paypal from now on. Everything seem to be good for a while, communication was good. The user was a she, some bs about her car got into a accident and needs it to be fixed and selling her macbook to pay for the damages. Supposedly she said her brother was going to go pick up the money and ship the mac the same day payment was received. Took the money, ended up giving me a fake number from the start for contacting, it was some pinger shit. Gave me a fake tracking number for usps. Probably gave me a fake address or someone else address as well. Soon as she know she scammed me out of money, she took down all her listing posts on the marketplace which she claims in the listings that she was helping her brother sell which included pairs of Quai54 V, Concords & CG XI. Shes been reading the PM's I sent her, and just ignoring em. I hope she gets banned and hope they ban her IP address as well so she wont be allowed to make another account on here. Honestly dont know how she/he established (29) positive feedback on here. I know local authorities probably wont do anything over something like this. So huge lesson learned, when a deal is too good to be true and payment is by money order or western union of some sort and not paypal should be avoided at all costs. But from the PM's I been getting from other members who been victim or those who got scammed that contributed in this thread it seems there are more than 2 people involved in this little crew in NY scamming people in this community.
Does anyone happen to know which admin or a specific admin you can report fraud to?
The brothers name & address given to me. The one who took the money.

just so you know paypal is 100% safe either, just a lot safer than m/o. Be smart about transactions... like guesswho said, a macbook pro under 1000 is suspicious.
and posting someone elses name and address can get you banned, just a word of cautoin.
lol "got into an accent" and he clearly said no m/o but you must have insisted.. idk what you were thinking

if you are located Upstate NY and he/she is from Brooklyn, then pay a visit to that address and see if that is a legit address.

damn bro. that sucks!! hope someone can hope you doh.
Seeing a 15 MBP for under 1000 should have raised a red flag immediately.
When I was scammed I contacted BigLesDoug, but I'm sure you can contact any admin/mod and they can direct you to the correct place.

From the feedback that I saw, most of em seem to be meetups. Or I think shes been doing meetups only, which probably led to the positive feedbacks shes been getting.
$830 WHAT THE EFF?!

First of all David Cross is awesome. Great avy averageguy
I don't think you are allowed to post personal info (addresses)
However, I think I remember a situation like this happening a few years ago, and the scammers name sounds REALLY familiar. Can anyone else confirm?
Also, you can try a stop payment on the money order if it hasn't been cashed
Not the first time that address and name has been posted here another person was scammed for a pair of air yeezys
