Tomorrow we find out where the Kings will be picking. If they can land the #1 pick and Ant Davis, that'd be sweet. Not sure if it would help or hurt our chances of staying. It would definitely make it sting more if they were to relocate. Still, Ant Davis would be the perfect compliment to Boogie Cousins game. If we could flip Tyreke for a decent SF, we'd be alright going into next year.
Also, Isaiah Thomas, All Rookie 2nd Team? Bullshit! That's east coast bias right there.
Win-win situation, it's only gonna motivate him even more to do better next season

lets hope he does, not a kings fan but i gotta cheer for the hometown kid
off topic but for you guys in sac, how's the fan base doing? do the city & fans still have invested interest in keeping them in town or have they kind of given up? just curious

We def want to keep the team in town. That is first and foremost. Even if we have to play in banged up Arco....errr...Power Balance Pavillion. The one thing we've given up on is the Maloofs. They are terrible owners. Our best case scenario is they sell to someone who wants to keep the team here. We'll be going through the relocation drama bullshit next Feb and March next season too unfornately.
Yeah these whole scenario intrigues me since it's reminiscent of what we had to deal with here in seattle not too long ago. One thing I wonder is if the maloof's are being somewhat true to their word of desiring to stay in sactown and some how a deal is reached how the community will react to them, does everyone continue to hold a grudge against them for playin their hands as they did or do you guys sweep it under the rug and call it a day?
I will say this, arco is pretty damn old man... I remember when I lived in Sactown going to watch hurley, tisdale & richmond back in the day and that venue wasn't really anything special then haha

Mocks have the Kings taking what's leftover of Robinson, Kidd-Gilchrist, and Barnes. However, Chad Ford has said the Kings may look to explore moving down the draft into the mid 1st round. If one of those 3 players above is still there at 5 and we move down, I'm rioting in Sac, real talk.
lmao. That's real though, any one of those three I could make a positive impact on your guys roster.

The thing is they really don't want to be here. Problem is no one knows their end game. Are they just buying time until they can sell? Are they waiting for a sweetheart deal from a city i.e. Anaheim that will bail them out of their financial issues? No one knows. At the end of the day, the talk about renovating Arco/Power Balance is a smokescreen. For the last 8-9 years the Maloofs have been saying they absolutely need a new building and staying in Arco is not good enough. Now that a deal comes along in which the City, AEG (who would run operations of the new building) and the NBA(who negotiated the deal on the Maloofs behalf) all agreed to terms on a new arena in downtown Sac, you back out? The NBA was even willing to foot the Maloofs portion of the money as a loan and they still said no. Plain and simple: They don't want to be here.
Sup guys. So y'all got the 5th pick.. it'll likely come down to Barnes or Drummond. Would y'all take one of those two, or trade the pick for Iggy?
If it came down to it, I'd take Iggy over either of those 2.
Barnes will probably be solid, but not spectacular. Drummond is high reward/higher risk. He could be D12 or could be Kwame Brown. His 29% FT absolutely scares the shit out of me.
I also think Thomas Robinson might become available, depending on what Wizards and Bobcats do. Cavs won't take Robinson because they already have Tristan Thompson. I've heard Bobcats want out of #2 pick. Personally, I'd trade Tyreke to Charlotte, get #2 and draft Kidd-Gilchrist, then keep #5 and hope Robinson or Drummond becomes available. Wa-lah, a frontcourt makeover.
Yeah I was gonna say.. if Robinson's still available at 5, then y'all take him. If not, a trade seems be more likely.
I agree with you on both those guys too, but being a 6ers fan, and having a human marshmallow for a Center.. I think I'd take that risk on Drummond.
GSW is willing to swap the 7th pick+Wright for Iggy. I like that one too cause we get a decent young 3 and can draft either Lamb, maybe Beal, Moultrie, Jones III, or Sully.
That Bobcats deal for Tyreke sounds interesting too. I think they might want a lil more in return because of Reke's play these past 2 yrs. He can be solid, but I'm not so sure about franchise player anymore.. def still possible though. I think T Will could do it, but he's a FA.. maybe a 2nd? hmm.. lets see.
