this is just like threadless shirts.
they have people design shirts, people vote, print, make shirts and profit.
instead of doing their own designing, they are having you do it and in the end you get a pair of chucks.
I think most designers or graphics people want to create such an ill design that it turns into a product that sells. I've designed a number of colorways and I didn't make a penny off of them - I was just stoked people dug them and had the opp to get them.
Plus... and ISS shoe would be sick if done right.
