I am interested in buying a sewing machine to start doing some reconstruction work. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to look for when purchasing a sewing machine? Do I need to purchase a machine that does zigzag stitching? I have about $600-$800 saved up that I can spend. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Doing my first paint splatter turned out pretty good, as you can see on the "Duke" CW Kobe IV I did here. It was a bit messy though, used a toothbrush and ran a toothpick across it. Results were good but got splatter spraying all over LOL. Just curious if anyone had any other ideas on how to get decent splatter results.

I've used a straw before. Just dip the straw in paint and then blow through the straw to get the paint to splatter on the shoe.

im looking into making custom recons.. i have all the material needed but have a few questions.

1. whats some good glue recommendations? im using barge and powerbond
2. im using a brother cs6000i, is this good? for some reason it wont sew the fabric with the og backing from the donor back onto the mid panel. is it because the needle isnt strong enough or?.. im lost?
3. what sz stitch do i use thats close if not the same length as nike uses?

any kind of help is appreciated. thank you.

The current swingman LeBron 9,
I was thinking of outlining the swoosh with the same green.
What painting tool would I use to do so? I
s angelus the best to use on it?
The neatest and cleanest way to mask off the parts I don't want to paint ?
If I do get paint on a part I don't want how can I clean it without messing up the 3 m?
Otherwise is there a customizer in NY that can do this for me?
jordans in 10 and 10.5 for sale. PM me for listing.
