The Ostrich, (Struthio camelus), is a large flightless bird native to
Africa. It is the only living species of its family, Struthionidae and
its genus, Struthio. When being pursued by a predator, they have been
known to reach speeds in excess of 70 km/h (45 mph) and can maintain a
steady speed of 50 km/h (30 mph), which makes the Ostrich the world's
fastest two-legged animal.

Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer is used extensively in high-end automobile
racing. The high cost of carbon fiber is mitigated by the material's
unsurpassed strength-to-weight ratio, and low weight is essential for
high-performance automobile racing. Racecar manufacturers have also
developed methods to give carbon fiber pieces strength in a certain
direction, making it strong in a load-bearing direction, but weak in
directions where little or no load would be placed on the member

Why not combine the 2 making the best ostrich racer ever! Now that is where
I got my inspiration from. Merging nature with technology. Ostrich skin
with carbon fiber accents making it a race bred ostrich ready for the
tracks!

This was my 1st time using a sewing machine I know it will never be as clean as the works of Revive, JBF,
The menace, Hush, Sharp, EL and many others. Many thanks to Revive,
JBF, Menace , Sharp, EL. SAB 1 and to whoever I forgot to mention for
helping me out in questions and answering and helping me figure out what
to do. Thanks!

Solid work for a first! Keep at it.

Couple suggestions that come to mind:

1. Cut out random shapes that include curves plus straight edges and practice stitching along the edge. This will help you get your stitches down as well as practice going around curves etc.

2. Make sure you are using Upholstery or Heavy thread

3. Take pride in your photography. Quick blurry shoots dont fly nowadays. Find a good setup take 20-50 pics if necessary and cut them down and pick the 5-7 best.

thats all I can immediatley think of now. Shoot a PM or FB if you have any future questions!
