I've read numerous threads and watched countless YouTube vids and am still unsure....

I just got a few new pairs with Icey bottoms so don't want to mess them up...

I've heard:

Leave in box with paper
Leave in box without paper
Put in closed ziplock in box
Put in open ziplock in box

Then I hear ziplock kills the leather. Please help. Had mainly been collecting early J's but now into some Lebrons and a pair of foams.

Thanks!
Sean

you might as well just not bother with it. there's no definitive solution.

then if you really hate the yellow look you can use sea glow on em every once in a while to restore them back to normal. but you're never going to be able to prevent them from getting yellow completely.

true that, icey i would say let them discolor if you are just collecting them. JK JK but not letting them discolor will make people nervous about buying them - not my words my brother works in a pawnshop

Not buying shoes that dis-color is the best way

if you've read threads & watched youtube videos and you still don't know, you're doing something wrong in life...

Like everyone said before its oxidation of the clear rubber that you can't completely prevent. The best methods from slowing it down tho is an ass load of the gel packs in box inside the store bag you bought it from. I did that to 07 & 2011 royal foams & the sole looked brand new for 1 year with the 07 & 9months with the 2011, no exaggeration. Of course once you wear them nothing can help but chemicals such as sea glow.
