OB, exactly what I was thinking. I almost made the same point as Niels last night when I watched it about Rose's incident. His forefoot had NOTHING TO DO with the roll - he landed on his heel and rolled. I have had no instability issues at all. It reminds me of the Nike Ultraflight - it has all the characteristics and features of an unstable shoe, yet comes together and overcomes itself. And didn't Nike just about fall over their feet on lightness of Flywire? Where were all these naysayers then. Oh yeah, loving the shoe and proclaiming it "best ever".
Joshua 6:20

20 When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so every man charged straight in, and they took the city.

...Also, he says it has a 'hole' in the support of the fore-foot, but that's only if you wear 'em too big, or have abnormally narrow feet, if you wear 'em snug(which every adidas shoe of late has been designed to), you'll notice the sides of the SprintWeb pull you in harder than the BEAST/SUPERBEAST which are serious BIGs shoes, if they put a harder sole on the Crazy Light it would be an awesome bigs shoe) so that's just a miss-fit, or a poor sizing choice on his part, not a design flaw...

That's saying a lot, because the Dwight Howard's first two signatures, especially the Beast, hold on to your feet like vice grips...

[quote:987fa164f5="mosDEFkilla"]How do the '09 Space James compare to the OG Retro Space Jams? Any minor differences?

If you are spending $200+ i'd go for a NDS pair of older space Jams but stay away from DS pairs.
My DS space jam and concord went through sole separation.

It also depends what you want the shoe for I fee comfortable playing ball in older Jordans but I won't play ball in any retro. [/quote:987fa164f5]
Agreed. I'd be reluctant to expect a lifestyle shoe to do a basketball shoe's job.

I only trust Team Jordan shoes to be suitable for play at this stage (if we are speaking about JB)... the older retros are a bit too "old" now in 2011...
Not saying they wouldn't do the job, just firgure that for the value, you can get so much more out of a sneaker as long as you don't bind yourself to one particular brand...

Now I'm not saying, anyone needs to drop a brand or not.. and I totally believ that Nike head, if they prefer Nike, should stick with Nike, because there should be a shoe out there that suits everyone's needs... BUT, remaining open to tryng new things will always benefit the wearer.... whether figuring out which is your idea shoe, to which tech is not your cup of tea...

MosDef - agreed with boyjordan, if you're going to spend that much on Jams, you should just pay the extra for the quality, hardly any of the current Jordan retros are built the same or use the same materials as the older retros/OGs.

That always amused me about JB elitists; they won't touch "team" Jordans. Those (and the yearly "legacy" shoes) are the shoes JB actually builds for basketball.

[quote:d33dd73341="dre_23"]Ok, so you think I should try out the CrazyLights?

BTW

I want to buy 2 new BB shoes, which would you take out of this 4:

AdiZero CrazyLight
Hyperfuse 2011
Lebron 8 V2/PS
Fly Wade

And why? Or even another 2 pairs?

I am 5'9, 167 lbs and playing SG.

Out of those, I would say the Wade and the CL. Regardless of looks, the Wade really is a great performer. And the CL, to me, is a no-brainer. It could be improved in some areas, but overall it is an incredible amount of cushioning and support for the minimalist design.[/quote:d33dd73341]

Ok, what where your choice, without this list, for now? I guess the CL and still the Wades or another one? Just want to know your Top 2, for now

Zoom BB2 dre! don't sleep on Nikes less popular shoe lines like Braves or Zoom BB's. The fact that they are less popular with heads doesn't make them an inferior shoe, and most by now have gone through a few incarnations of tech/material combinations and are now at solid versions of tried and tested ideas. I would say the BB2 was a better shoe than the 3 but both are great. There isn't much about the way of groundbreaking design or fashion consciousness but that isn't what makes a good balling sneaker.

PS couldn't agree more with Jesus. Played a pick up in my 09 jams and MY FEET HURT YO.

Zoom BB2, they are really better, than the BB3? But where do I get BB2 or 3 now? So you say, the BB3 is better than the Hyperfuse 2011?

I haven't balled in the Hyperfuse 2011 yet, I did ball in the last incarnation though. Better???..... Yeah,I would say they were better than the orignal hyperfuse. The hyperfuse are lighter, but not noticaby lighter on foot, and IMO, Nike used a realy nice quality leather on the BB which is more comfortable than the Hyperfuse.

BB3 will be available at FL and Nike.com, BB2 you'll find on ebay.
