As far as shox go yep horrible.
My heels would kill me after each wear.
As far as the Kobes go I never play in low tops because of ankle rolls and I agree with Jon.
Those are good for light guards I recommend Adidas for bigger guys.
Dwight models and KGs.

Jon, I saw your post in the Chat thread about the Fuse lows and decided to answer here. THe 2011 model is so much better fitting than the 2010, it is ridiculous. Makes you wonder what they did wrong last year.
And to continue with the Zoom talk above, I had that same numbness in the 2K4, one of the reasons I called it over-rated of all-time. To me, the fit was sloppy and the Zoom numbed my foot. Same way I felt in the Jordan XIV, the supoosed Holy Grail of Jordan performance. One of the reasons I like the feel of the Fuse is that the heel uses straight fooa, no Air, so there is a better feeling of stability with no difference in regional cushioning, and the foam used in the forefoot is denser than normal Phylon, so the stability and impact relay a greater response.
And Jon, on the reviews, I will wear anything, and EVERYTHING, they send me, as my next couple of reviews will show (after the Micro G Split)...

[quote:8c32676f4a="Nene33"]Pretty much what Jon said.
[u:8c32676f4a][i:8c32676f4a][b:8c32676f4a]The problem for your joints with Zoom, is the fact that it's originally designed to keep your muscles underfoot more loose,[/b:8c32676f4a][/i:8c32676f4a][/u:8c32676f4a] to try and limit shoe-interference in your mechanics(that's why you get the 'feedback', it's trying to give you more of a 'jazz-shuffle' in your movement, intead of angular 'techno-beat' response, a result of the late 80s/90's development of giant protective shoes).
Now that theory works with limited exposure of the Zoom(it's why older Zoom shoes, are WAY more stable than new ones), but it needs to be backed up, by a stable mid-sole, strong enough to dissipate the impact coming into the shoe, and 'right' the shoe under pressure, otherwise, you'll just have an unstable shoe, that has no way of righting itself(making it pull over the top of your foot, in the uppers, creating more instability), and you run the risk, of the shoe spiraling out of control under pressure.
Which is kind of the problem with the mushy-foam used in newer Zoom shoes(and the Air-Max-like, Zoom bags for heel cushioning), it's not dense enough, to dissipate the impact, it's not strong enough, to stabilize the shoe.
And like Jon said, if your form is off, that can cause problems.[/quote:8c32676f4a]
Really? Wow, I read somewhere that it was originally created to help with lateral movement.
With my experience of this shoe, the H2K4 busting up on me,
[img:8c32676f4a]http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i422/wllalston/007-2.jpg[/img:8c32676f4a]
I began to examine a pair of Nike's more [i:8c32676f4a]mushier[/i:8c32676f4a] hoops shoes.
The blue foam is the really soft [i:8c32676f4a]springy [/i:8c32676f4a]stuff. In this shoe, and shoes that use a similar setup, I get numbness underfoot just while standing still. Also with this sort of shoe, I've always felt slower, much less explosive. However on cuts, I do get lower to the ground, being able to make harder cuts. After making the cuts though, I do not come out [i:8c32676f4a]quicker[/i:8c32676f4a] after the cuts, not being able to explode as quickly. I feel as if I am stuck in the mud, not being able to get out quick enough.
The zoom used at the toe and heel, does a good job of exacerbating the issue of slowness and instability, which the zoom is even softer than the blue foam.
Well, that's an effect of having less stress build-up under-foot of course.
The total idea is more all-round though, it's why they have Zoom, and a lot of similar fore-foot tech in running shoes, they don't really need to cut, or slash, but they do need to stop stress from building up under-foot.
-----------------
I had the same feeling in Huarache 2k4's, the shoe is so mushy, and soft, that it makes movement heavy.
And that's the problem with using gas, and a little silicon, as the main agent in 'detail' cushioning(because as much as marketing likes to make us believe otherwise, it's still mainly EVA/PU that cushions shoes), you can't pressurize a bag/capsule heavily enough, to shoot back an athlete at full-speed, to where he came from.
It's one of the reasons I believe they tried LunarLon, better structural integrity, quicker response.

^ Yah, but you don't wear your Nike blinders. You're objective and open to the idea that shoes without a swoosh on the side can be great shoes too.
