It's not the ying yang. It's actually a ill different.
"Harmony has been reached with the debut of the ASICS Gel Lyte III âPirate Blackâ. Effectively combining both white and black tones throughout the upper, this pair bears a striking resemblance to the ASICS Gel Lyte III âYing Yangâ Pack. The majority of this makeup is set in a short-grain suede, with hints of mesh featured on the underlay."

wow, I was thinking they might be different but I couldn't see much of a difference. Appreciate the correction
Technically you're both right.
It looks like Hanon is using a pic of the Pirates for their Yin Yang Blacks.
Notice the shiny leather for the yin yangs here
http://solecollector.com/news/asics-gel-lyte-iii-yin-yang-pack/
Compare that to the pic on Hanon which is the nubuck-ish material and gray Asics logo
You're all incorrect...the pirates are not the same as the Yin Yangs...Hanons pics are the Yin Yangs....the differences between the Pirates and the black Yin Yangs are as follows: 1. The Yins use Cordura on the upper, not suede, mesh, nylon...Cordura is a tough variant of cloth...2. Yins have the contrasting white on the split tongue, of which on the inner there is more white towards the upper..that pic FKilos and CMNike posted is the YY...in fact, there prob is no Pirate....if so, someone find a proper pic...For the record, the YYs are Cordura, with suede trim, contrasting white on the inner tongue split....I'm betting there is no 'pirate'...SNKR FRKR 23 has clear and nice pics of the inner and nice close ups re the materials...

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling they might be the same shoe, but the early pics of the yin yang pack pic threw me off because of the shiny leather (samples maybe?).
Anyways, I feel that we're better off with the actual release having Cordura, with suede trim,
