Sb's will never be what they once were

They're putting focus on the skater, where it probably belongs. The recent colorways are traditional skate themes. While the shoe collector might get off on shoes that resemble a NYC hooker; animal print/hot pink/crazy mixed up colorways, the skate community steers clear of that for the most part. Is that a bad thing? I don't know. I'm cool with both mild and wild.

QFT. I understand their direction. I think the thing I'm missin are the little extra finishing touches, even on cleaner/milder CW's like Lunar Lows, with the eclipse stitched on the side... Those little details are what set apart 'OK' SB's from Great SBs, IMO, even on mellow pairs.

As for the preview (what little of one there is here) I prefer the middle "superman" CW pair... I like the Red Contrast stitching of the Patagonia Lows a lot but this one-color blue CW looks cleaner than the Patagonias did. So far tho, I don't know if I'd even pay retail for any of em but then again, we're only seein a fraction of 1 shoe so hard to call this early.

Looks like your notebook accidentally covered up the subject of your picture there.
