Adidas Originals' character-themed releases are second-to-none in the sneaker industry and the latest pair to surface is no exception. With Disney set to release the first theatrical Muppets film since 1999's Muppets in Space this November, adidas has linked up with the company to create some Muppet-inspired footwear. The first release, pictured here, takes its design cues from none other than Kermit the Frog.
The "Kermit" Superstar II features a bright green suede upper with leather detailing along eyestay, 3-Stripes and heel. White takes care of the interior, shell toe and midsole, which is finished off with a green rubber outslole. The most noticeable feature on the shoe is Kermit's signature collar affixed to the tongue of the shoe.
Expect the Superstar II X Kermit to hit adidas Originals retailers sometime in October. We'll keep you posted with any updates here at Sole Collector.
