When you're carving out a flagship model for SUPRA Footwear, it's Chad Muska's Skytop that stands out amongst the rest. After two wildly successful iterations of the skate model, SUPRA and Muska are finally prepared to launch the latest installment of the series - the SKYTOP III.
Touted as the most stylistically and technologically advanced model of the collection thus far, the SKYTOP III represents the line's trademark blending of fashion and skate, but packed into a lower profile. Key features include a molded TRP cage highlighted by lines reminiscent of the original SKYTOP and a modern rubber cupsole with full-length, blown EVA encased in the forefoot and heel.
Rubber sidewalls reinforce skate sensitive arenas of the shoe, while a fully enclosed mesh inner booty enhances breathability and comfort. A lift of the footbed reveals a removable EVA pod with an encapsulated air pocket for increased ride protection. Increasing the board feel and flexibility is a carefully designed tread pattern. Lastly, Muska tradition is upheld with the inclusion of a hidden stash pocket behind the tongue.
“It’s part tech runner and part basketball shoe, mixed in with the lines of the original SKYTOP,” said Muska.
The initial run of the SKYTOP III at launch will include pairs in white Gunny TUF, grey suede, red suede and black nubuck. Retail for the SKYTOP III is $120 and you can purchase a pair now at SUPRA and authorized dealers.
