I actually like these Janoski's......they are taking the ideas behind the actual shoe to a new level, having more inspiration and thought behind the shoe than just what colors to use. I am almost positive that the idea behind this "Vino Rosso" Janoski is to pay homage to an Italian reggae/ska/folk band from Italy named Vino Rosso. The band has 8 members,. They have compiled many different songs about peace and saving our world, singing in italian, dutch, and english. They are all from Merano, and they mostly tour throughout Europe. They are a fairly new band, but have gotten a pretty big following due to their good music, which can be accepted and enjoyed by many. Their permanent home is Italy, but they travel all over to perform their music. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that might be the idea behind the shoe considering that "Vino Rosso" is the bands name, but also means "red wine" in italian. So it could have just been an idea as simple as just staining an all white shoe with red wine. There are also some restaurants/wine bars in the US with the name "Vino Rosso", but it would be a lot cooler if the idea was derived from the very good reggae/ska/folk band. They have their own facebook page,Check em out. And if any admins or mods know anymore about this, please let us know. I hope this helped answer some of the questions people had about the shoe.
