In association with the people over at Nike Sportswear, UK retailer Crooked Tongues held their annual barbecue at London's Queen of Hoxton yesterday. Celebrating 11 years of being one of the world's top sneaker distributors, Crooked Tongues packed the rooftop venue and treated the guests to food, booze and other beverages, as well as some live music from various DJs. Additionally, a contest was ran throughout the day using the company's Twitter account, with the prize being something very special and very exclusive from Nike Sportswear.
To enter the contest, attendees simply had to take a picture of what shoes they were wearing at the event and post it on their personal Twitter account along with the hashtag #CTNSWBBQ2011. If chosen as a winner by CT, the individual had to report to the DJ booth by a specified time to claim his or her prize. That prize - the brand new Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse Premium in the classic "Infrared" colorway. Each pair is also lined with custom insoles that feature the date of the event and is packaged in a box with a special CT BBQ 2011 label.
