During his Nike Live event last night at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Kevin Durant also enjoyed talking to host Mike Epps about his signature Zoom KD III coming to NIKE iD, a first for his shoe.
To make things interactive with the hundreds on hand, KD glanced over five fan designed entries just behind him on the big screen, and picked a favorite on the spot. "The joints in the middle," Durant instantly said while pointing.
And with that, the NIKE iD version of the Zoom KD III that KD himself approved of, designed by both Leo Vega and Noel Ramos, will be ordered up in size 18 and worn on-court by Durant as he and the Thunder return to Los Angeles and take on the Lakers at the Staples Center on April 10th.
